Petland Miami recently joined the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer in an effort to help support families with children suffering from cancer.
The walk took place on September 22, 2018 in Tamiami Park, where many people, including team members from Petland Miami, banded together to show support and love towards these children and their families as well as to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Apart from providing families with food, housing, treatment, and travel at no cost, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital treats children in all 50 states and around the world. Their research, time, and patience towards treatments and care has helped push the childhood cancer survival rate to more than 80%. Their goal is to not stop until no child dies from cancer.
In order to help St. Jude reach its goal, Petland Miami set up a fundraiser on the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fundraising page, where they were able to raise more than $500 in donation money for the hospital and its mission to help these children get better.
Petland Miami is optimistic in joining the fight to end childhood cancer again and crossing the finish line next year!
