We at Petland Miami are incredibly honored to share that we recently gave the gift of a furry soulmate to a Vietnam veteran on January 3, 2020!

The donation took place at our Petland Pembroke Pines location. During the event, we donated one of our beautiful puppies to Jorge Morales, who is a Vietnam veteran. Our manager, Luis Marquez, personally met with Jorge at our store and spoke about his experiences before presenting him with his new furry friend, a Bichon Frise.

This furry cutie was so delighted to meet their new fur-parent and didn’t hesitate to pepper him with kisses and puppy love. Our puppies are always super affectionate and social; they love meeting new people any chance they get!

The Bichon Frise, a small yet perky canine, is also the perfect companion for any veteran. Apart from being a playful and charming dog, Bichons are naturally sturdy, able to adapt to any type of environment. Their adaptability makes them easy to take on trips or bring to a new home!

Dad deserves a new best friend.

As part of our commitment to our community, our staff and team work hard to ensure that each of our pups are socialized and physically fit before they go to their new homes. It’s for this reason we believe that he will have a furry companion for a long time.
