Petland Puppies at NAMI Collier County

On September 14, 2020, our Petland staff took our adorable puppies to NAMI, a rehabilitation center, for a fun round of puppy therapy!

NAMI, located in Naples, FL, is a rehabilitation center that works towards helping individuals recover from their mental health and substance abuse struggles. The center works with other associates in the community to build up support and awareness to others about mental health. Patients receive support, care, and education depending on their own needs.

Our puppies had such a great time meeting with the patients and staff at NAMI. They played, cuddled, and kissed everyone who gave them attention. It may not seem obvious but through our puppies’ kisses, they send a message of unconditional love that allows our community to feel appreciated. Puppy therapy has tons of benefits to patients with mental health and substance abuse struggles so we’re happy to continue bringing our puppies for puppy therapy.

At Petland, we support the mission of NAMI and their efforts in spreading awareness about mental health. We can’t wait to see the friends we made at the NAMI center soon!
